NEW RULE FOR 2008: PRE -REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED. Please bring the Official Entry Form and entries to the Orange County Fairgrounds at Historic Montpelier on the following dates and times. On Tuesday night, July 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , entries will be received in the entry tent. (Entries in the Food Preparation, Garden Produce, and Flowers and Plants Departments will NOT be accepted this night). On Wednesday night, July 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , entries will be accepted in ALL departments. On Thursday morning, July 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. , ONLY entries in the Food Preparation, Garden Produce, and Flowers and Plants Departments will be accepted. |

Classes with only one entry will be awarded placing at the judges discretion. |

The Orange County Fair Association, Inc. reserves the right to refuse ant entry offered and to require removal from the grounds of an exhibit or animal which the Board of Directors shall for any reason deem unfit or objectionable. |

All exhibitors must be residents of the State of Virginia. Horse events during the Fair are open. |
5. |
The exhibitor assumes all risks of damage or loss either to person or property for any cause what so ever. It is further expressly understood and agreed between the exhibitor and the Orange County Fair Association, Inc. and Montpelier that the said Fair or Montpelier incurs no liability or obligations to the exhibitor. |

Only one entry per exhibitor per class. |
7. |
All complaints must be presented in writing to the Orange County Fair Association, Inc., no later than 30 days after the close of the Fair. |

Exhibit tent will be closed during judging of entries on Thursday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. |
9. |
All animals must be on a leash or under the control of a responsible individual. |
10. |
Entries cannot be removed from exhibit area before 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27. Everyone who attends the Fair has a right to view them. |
11. |
The use of alcoholic beverages, drugs, abusive language, or other abusive misconduct is prohibited. |
12. |
Articles exhibited must be the work of the person in whose name they are entered and must have been completed since last Fair. |
13. |
The Executive Committee reserves the right to close or prohibit any feature of the Fair that is in their opinion objectionable. |
